Who we are

In the training and rehabilitation of horses, we attach great importance to a holistic approach to the horse. This is guaranteed thanks to the close and long-standing cooperation with our extended team consisting of veterinarians, homeopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists, saddlers, farriers, dentists, etc., and is continuously enhanced.

Gabriele Rachen-Schöneich

Gabriele Rachen-Schöneich trains horses at the ARR since more than 20 years. She teaches her students in the riding arena and the round paddock to tackle the natural crookedness on the ground and in the saddle. Based on detailed knowledge about the human musculoske-letal system she is indeed the expert when it comes to the correct anatomical way of sitting in the saddle.

Klaus Schöneich

Since his childhood he lives and works with horses and developed the straightening training. He extended his knowledge about different riding styles with different breeds and deepened his knowledge about the anatomy and biomechanics of horses during numerous visits abroad, like Spain and the USA. He supports his students in training their horses in Germany and abroad though numerous clinics. His revealing analyses in seminars of the musculoskeletal system cause worldwide interest.

Dirk Hoffmann

When it comes to riding the horses in training with us, we rely on our experienced rider Dirk Hoffmann. Dirk Hoffmann is a qualified FN rider and rode successfully up to S level before leaving competitive sport behind. At the ARR Center he is dedicated to breaking in young horses as well as training, correcting and rehabilitating clients' horses. In close cooperation with Gabriele Rachen-Schöneich and Klaus Schöneich, Dirk Hofmann implements fine and fair riding as it is practised at the ARR Center. Every day he rejoices in the new ease with which he is able to carefully accompany the horses entrusted to him into the second stage of training.
